WHO IS THIS FOR
This training is designed for those who feel called to go deeper; whether you are a dedicated hot yoga practitioner looking to deepen your practice and step into teaching, a yoga practitioner with little to no hot yoga experience who is ready to expand into a new discipline, or an existing instructor seeking to become more versatile and confident teaching in a heated environment. It is also for those who aspire to hold an internationally recognised certification and teach with credibility across different studio settings.
A pre-enrollment interview or 1-1 consultation is required with the trainer to assess suitability and confirm enrolment. The candidate needs to understand and be prepared to undertake physical and mental demands of the training where guided classes will be conducted in the heated environment.
Regardless of where you are starting from, this program meets you at your level and supports your growth into a skilled, adaptable, and impactful teacher.
COURSE CURRICULUM
Techniques, Training & Practice (90 hours)
This pillar immerses trainees in the hot yoga practice environment, where precision, repetition, and discipline form the foundation. Trainees develop embodied mastery of asana, pranayama, meditation, mantra, and subtle body awareness under heat, learning to cue, sequence, and correct safely while maintaining class flow. Emphasis is placed on consistency of personal practice, breath control, and the integration of traditional principles into modern teaching, preparing teachers to hold space with authority and guide students toward transformation.
Anatomy & Physiology (30 hours)
Trainees develop a deep understanding of how the body moves, functions, and responds during sustained asana practice. Focus areas include skeletal alignment, muscular engagement, joint integrity, and nervous system regulation. Trainees learn to apply functional anatomy to cue with clarity, protect students from injury, and adapt for diverse needs. Awareness of cardiovascular, respiratory, and biomechanical responses in heated practice equips teachers to deliver classes that are safe, intelligent, and transformative, ensuring students thrive in every posture.
Yoga Humanities (30 hours)
This pillar situates trainees in the lineage and philosophy of yoga, exploring history, ethics, and the evolution of hot yoga. Trainees gain awareness of classical texts, asana origins, and teaching responsibility, while examining the intersection of tradition and modern adaptations. Deep engagement with lineage, ethical conduct, and cultural context empowers teachers to honor the roots of the practice while delivering authentic, meaningful classes.
Teaching Essentials & Professional Development (50 hours)
Trainees develop the skills to lead with confidence in both hot and non-heated environments, expanding versatility across yoga styles and settings. Training includes actionable teaching methodology, class management, observation, feedback, and professional ethics, providing a stepping stone for teaching effective classes. Trainees practice operational instruction, energy management, and room leadership, ensuring every class is structured, safe, and effective. This pillar equips teachers with the tools to deliver transformation consistently, uphold standards, and build a sustainable teaching practice.
